Go Proofreading is a website specializing in providing editing services for students, businesses and writers. It has dark design and looks quite professional. They claim they can complete the task in any field and of any difficulty. I had one college paper and I was not sure if it’s good enough to submit, so I decided to have a go.

Price Policy

I was disappointed when I haven’t found an exact estimate of the price on the site. Instead, you are offered to choose service package, complete the order and only then you get to the payment page. I don’t think it’s convenient, as many students count their money and the price is an important factor for us. But finally I have chosen Premium package from $6, and placed an order. The final price was quite affordable.

My essay was 3 pages in length, and the deadline was 2 days. I had possibility to contact the editor, but I only contacted him once to know about the progress of my paper. My package did not include the review of referencing, organization and flow, and I regretted about it later. I received an edited paperwork in 2 days sharp, and all the small mistakes have been corrected. However, the editor didn’t check the structure and logics.

Quality of writing and support

They have phone number and live chat, but the chat isn’t always available. As for the quality of editing, I can describe it as high. But as a result, I didn’t receive the paper of an expected quality, it still needed work. The editor only did what he was paid for. I think the entire idea of dividing editing services isn’t right – how is it like to do just the part of a job? In spite that my paper was absolutely error-free, I couldn’t hand it as it still needed work with structure.
