I often use various writing and editing services. To be honest, this is mostly because all sites give good discounts for first order and then make you pay a fortune for the same type of work. So, with my next assignment I came to Proofix – I had a term paper already written but needed to check it to remove all mistakes. As usual, the price depends on the number of words. For my 4 page paper I paid around $30 including their discount offer for $5 off. I consider these prices quite average as some of the websites charge even more for simple proofreading.

The paper didn’t need any big corrections – I simply needed to make sure it’s error-free and avoid losing points for grammar. There’s a contact phone number and email to get in touch with site staff. However, I wonder if they are 24/7. Will they be able to provide edited paper in 3 hours, if I place an order like at 1 am? It’s strange that the site doesn’t say a word about it. The proofread paper with corrections was sent to me in 24 hours. The quality of proofreading was simply good and the level of service is basically the same as the other services provide.

Conclusion

The main thing which embarrassed me in this company is that I once called them late in the evening and nobody answered, so I don’t think they are always available for urgent assignments.
